Engagement/Honorarium Fee
The fee for each speaking engagement (up to a 3 day event) is $4,000, plus all applicable travel-related and event-related expenses. The fee covers the speaking engagement itself and does not include transportation, accommodations, meals, or other expenses associated with fulfilling the engagement.
Travel and Related Expenses
The hosting organization is responsible for covering all reasonable expenses associated with the speaking engagement, including, but not limited to:
- Round-trip airfare.
- Car rental and related transportation expenses.
- Lodging at accommodations selected by Dr. Cartwright.
- Meals during travel and the engagement.
- Parking, ground transportation, baggage fees, and other reasonable travel-related expenses incurred in connection with the event.
Travel arrangements and accommodations must be coordinated in advance. Where appropriate, the hosting organization may arrange and pay for approved expenses directly or reimburse expenses in accordance with the terms agreed upon before the engagement.
Booking and Confirmation
All speaking engagements are subject to availability and mutual agreement regarding the event details, schedule, location, and applicable terms. An engagement is not considered confirmed until the arrangements have been agreed upon in writing. A written speaking agreement is required to establish payment deadlines, cancellation or rescheduling terms, travel arrangements, and any additional conditions specific to the event.
