The immune system plays such an important role in health. In order to have good health, you need to go back to the basics. Sleep, diet, exercise, having a positive outlook on life, getting good vitamins and minerals in your body, etc. Being able to conquer these aspects will help you live a long and healthy life. We should all strive to be a centenarian (someone who lives to at least 100 years old). The new technical name for this is ‘bio-hacking’.

We all have one or two of these that we have to REALLY work on. For me, diet is difficult. I struggle with this and I have to constantly keep it in check. Its hard to eat correctly when I travel a lot with speaking events. I love meeting people like Joel Salatin from Polyface farms, Maureen Diaz from God’s Good Table, or Melissa K. Norris from Pioneering Today but being on the road a lot means the diet can get out of whack. We all have something we struggle with. I get it. I really do.

In order to have complete health and bio-hack our bodies, lets focus on these basic things. Getting a good, restful 8 hours of sleep in complete darkness and no distractions, eating a good healthy (low carb) diet, getting exercise daily that works your entire body (including breathwork), seeing the positive in everything you do, getting good direct sunshine at least 20 minutes a day, grounding, drinking hydrogenated water, receiving vitamins and minerals found in foods and herbs you grow, and simply being happy. By doing these basic things, you can reset your body. You can get away from the world that is only trying to push pharmaceutical medicines and only fix the symptom and not the problem. On top of this, any herbal medicines you consume will work better if your body is good from the inside out!
